Enterprises that outperform their assigned emissions targets will be awarded Carbon Credit Certificates, which can then be traded. Concurrently, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has issued detailed regulations governing carbon credit transactions, laying the final administrative framework for active trading to commence as monitoring reports are submitted.
